Experience behind the inquiry.
Author. Orator. Creator.
I ran manufacturing plants. Ten across Canada, with responsibility for people, production, and the bottom line. I led sales and marketing organizations. I built a business and integrated acquired companies. Decisions had to become results, and the people doing the work had to make that happen.
I helped create Penn State’s Engineering Leadership Development Minor, taught its courses, and directed the program. I designed leadership development for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center Senior Executive Team and led global corporate development at IMD in Switzerland. I am a US Navy Service-Disabled Veteran.
I hold an MBA from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development from Penn State.
